This movie shows a mo6s3i6 nanowire to transform after being heated by electric current. The real-time electron diffraction shows the annealing phase with crystal growth after the initial transformation. The final state of the nanowire is a step-wise single crystaline molybdenum nanowire.

    Impressive. How was the setup? Do you think current distribution is homogeneous? It should be complicated considering the strong transmission current. Have you tried analyzing the variations of the fourier spectra?
