Nanofab3D: High Speed Nanowire Fabrication with Confined Precipitation
March 3, 2010 by AboutNanoWires.com
The freestanding nanofibers on a Si substrate were drawn at a speed of 20 micrometer/s with a glass micropipette having an aperture diameter of ~ 200 nm. The micropipette was aligned perpendicular to the substrate, and formed a mirror image (on the left side of the video frame) over the substrate surface. The spacing between the nanofibres is 30 micrometer.
